Creating in the name of Art.
I’m Anna Posa — a painter, writer, magazine-maker, and creative thinker based in Sicily, originally from Sweden. Labels tend to fall short, but if there’s a red thread through everything I do, it’s this: I create in the name of Art.
My work spans painting, writing, design, and creative innovation. I move between mediums the way some people move between rooms — naturally, instinctively, and with curiosity as my compass. If something catches my attention, I’ll follow it. Whether that means writing a book about the meaning of home, reimagining the artist palette into a plate for cheese and wine, or designing visual identities from scratch — I’m in.
Art, to me, isn’t one thing. It’s a way of seeing. A way of thinking. A way of making meaning out of materials, ideas, and emotion.
I believe creativity should be used, lived with, and occasionally questioned.
One of my most beloved projects is Houses & Art — a digital magazine where architecture, design, and human stories meet. It’s a space I founded to explore how we live and create, pairing thoughtful aesthetics with reflections, dry humor, and the occasional glas of prosecco.

Creare nel nome dell’Arte.
Sono Anna Posa — pittrice, scrittrice, fondatrice di una rivista e pensatrice creativa, vivo in Sicilia ma vengo dalla Svezia. Le etichette spesso mi stanno strette, ma se c’è un filo rosso che attraversa tutto ciò che faccio, è questo: creo nel nome dell’Arte.
Il mio lavoro abbraccia la pittura, la scrittura, il design e l’innovazione creativa. Mi muovo tra i linguaggi creativi come alcuni si muovono tra le stanze — con naturalezza, istinto e curiosità come bussola. Se qualcosa accende il mio interesse, la seguo. Che si tratti di scrivere un libro sul significato della casa, reinventare una tavolozza d’artista per trasformarla in un piatto da formaggio e vino, o progettare un’identità visiva da zero — ci sono dentro.
Per me, l’arte non è una cosa sola. È un modo di vedere. Un modo di pensare. Un modo di dare significato a materiali, idee ed emozioni.
Credo che la creatività vada vissuta, utilizzata — e talvolta anche messa in discussione.
Uno dei miei progetti più amati è Houses & Art — una rivista digitale dove architettura, design e storie umane si incontrano. Uno spazio che ho fondato per esplorare come viviamo e creiamo, unendo estetica riflessiva, pensiero libero, un pizzico di ironia e — naturalmente — Un buon bicchiere di Prosecco.
