Between Swedish quiet and Sicilian light.

I have Swedish roots, and in 2018 I left my apartment in Malmö for Sicily, where old houses are allowed to grow old in the open. Most of what I make lives somewhere between those two places.

In 2023 I founded Houses & Art — an independent magazine of houses, art and memory, printed once a year and made to be kept. I write it, edit it, photograph much of it and put it together at a small desk, one issue at a time.

Between issues I write the Journal here on posa.se, send a few quiet letters to readers called Dear Reader, and make small things by hand, like Notebook No. 1. Sometimes the work becomes sound: ambient music to go with the pictures.

What holds it all together is one question I keep returning to: what does a house, an object or a place remember — and how do we make room to notice?

Through this movement between disciplines, I search for connections: between spaces and emotions, between the visible and the imagined, between the quiet process of creation and the moment when a work meets its viewer.

Art, for me, is both inquiry and expression — a way of listening, observing, and translating experience into something tangible.

Some of my works live in Sicily, where the light, the landscape, and the slow rhythm of the island continue to shape my artistic vision.
