Houses & Art – My First Solo Exhibition

Houses & Art is my first solo exhibition—an experience that I had quietly anticipated for months. The exhibition opened on May 8th at the Torre Casalotto Golf Club in Aci Catena, Sicily, and runs through July 8th.

The venue—set within the club’s serene and modern restaurant—offered the perfect atmosphere for my paintings: a space of warm restraint, where olive green walls, eggshell tones, and soft browns allowed the work to speak gently and clearly.

Fourteen oil paintings are on view, ranging in size from 50×70 to 120×150 cm. Each one is part of my ongoing exploration of silence, presence, and the architectural stillness that has become central to my visual language. Visitors often describe my work as serene, almost meditative—and here, the paintings found themselves in harmony with their surroundings.

The vernissage was an emotional moment for me. I had been nervous for weeks, but the opening night exceeded every hope. Friends, family, and many unfamiliar faces filled the space with warmth and joy. The energy of that evening was so alive and generous that we completely forgot to take photos.

This exhibition reminded me of something simple but powerful: art has the ability to bring people together without explanation, without condition. And for that, I am deeply grateful.

Houses & Art – La Mia Prima Mostra Personale

Houses & Art è la mia prima mostra personale — un’esperienza che avevo atteso in silenzio per mesi. L’inaugurazione si è tenuta l’8 maggio presso il Torre Casalotto Golf Club ad Aci Catena, in Sicilia, e la mostra resterà aperta fino all’8 luglio.

La location — all’interno del ristorante moderno e tranquillo del club — ha offerto l’atmosfera perfetta per i miei dipinti: uno spazio di sobria accoglienza, dove pareti verde oliva, toni guscio d’uovo e marroni delicati hanno permesso alle opere di parlare con dolcezza e chiarezza.

Sono esposti quattordici dipinti a olio, con dimensioni che variano da 50×70 a 120×150 cm. Ognuno fa parte della mia continua esplorazione del silenzio, della presenza e della quiete architettonica che è diventata centrale nel mio linguaggio visivo. I visitatori descrivono spesso il mio lavoro come sereno, quasi meditativo — e qui, i dipinti si sono trovati in perfetta armonia con l’ambiente.

Il vernissage è stato un momento molto emozionante per me. Ero nervosa da settimane, ma la serata ha superato ogni aspettativa. Amici, familiari e molti volti sconosciuti hanno riempito lo spazio con calore e gioia. L’energia di quella sera era così viva e generosa che ci siamo completamente dimenticati di scattare foto.

Questa mostra mi ha ricordato qualcosa di semplice ma potente: l’arte ha la capacità di unire le persone senza spiegazioni, senza condizioni. E di questo, sono profondamente grata.
